An upgraded townhouse with vintage ski decor and log accents, this roomy 1-bedroom condo + loft offers all the amenities of a high-end condo with the inviting atmosphere of a cozy ski lodge.
High ceilings and wood-paneled walls welcome you to a spacious living area with hardwood floors, classic ski art and a wood-burning, river rock fireplace. A full-length sleeper sofa and twin armchairs frame a log coffee table and large, flat-screen TV, offering a cozy place to gather after a day on the slopes. There is also a Dell docking station for your laptop, should you need to work during your stay.
In the dining area, a handcrafted sleigh and antique snowshoes hang above a six-seat formal dining table. Sliding glass doors allow light to flood the living and dining areas, with a private furnished deck just outside. A fully-equipped kitchen invites home-cooked meals with high-end appliances. A crock pot and Keurig coffee maker are some of the additional perks in the kitchen.
Just down the hall is a full bedroom, styled in classic mountain decor with a king-sized bed and twin nightstands. From the living area , access a cozy, carpeted loft with a flat-screen TV and en-suite bath features two additional queen beds, allowing the home to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. A second full bathroom downstairs with a private washer and dryer provides added convenience.
As guests of Bigwood, you’ll enjoy access to the community hot tub, summer-use pool and BBQ grill, as well as a shared, one-car garage. Please note that the garage can accommodate up to a full-size SUV (i.e., Tahoe) but it will be a tight squeeze. There is outdoor parking along Majestic Pines as well. There is no RV or Trailer parking. This home is also conveniently located near Eagle Lodge on the yellow shuttle route for easy access to the slopes and entire town. Whether you choose to visit Mammoth for the skiing, hiking, biking or simply the lively town events, Bigwood 30 is an ideal home for year-round adventures.
Please be advised that this home does not have central air conditioning but does have a portable air conditioning unit in the loft area during the summer months. This is also a top unit which requires navigating approximately 30 stair steps but provides views of the Sherwin Mountain Range you don't see from the lower units.
