Nestled on wooded grounds overlooking the slopes of Mammoth Mountain, this inviting two bedroom condo plus loft evokes the feeling of a cozy ski lodge with high ceilings, wood-paneled walls, log accents and picture windows. The two-level home opens onto a spacious living area with double-height ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace with an impressive stone mantel and plush sofas facing a large-screen TV. The living room flows into a 6-seat dining area, complemented by two stools at the kitchen breakfast bar to comfortably seat up to eight guests. The newly upgraded kitchen features gourmet countertops, a slate floor and a charming window-paneled pantry.
An elegant staircase with a hardwood rail and cast-iron accents leads to a spacious loft with twin bunk beds and an en-suite bath, providing an ideal “kids’ room.” The master bedroom, located on the main level, features a California king bed, vaulted ceilings and a newly remodeled en-suite bath with a luxurious soaker tub. The second bedroom, also located on the ground floor, features two twin beds, hardwood accent furniture, and a shared bath. Both bedrooms have large picture windows overlooking the towering pines outside.
Just outside, a charming deck stacked with firewood welcomes you home after a day on the slopes or trails, while an on-site, oversized hot tub and summer-use pool rejuvenate tired muscles for another day outside. A short walk down the tree-lined street is the shuttle to downtown Mammoth and the slopes.
Mountainback 80 also features parking for two cars, allowing you to explore the surrounding area, from the Snowcreek Golf Course to the nearby Mammoth Hot Springs.
