Nestled on landscaped grounds steps from the Snowcreek Golf Course with shuttle access to Mammoth Ski Area’s Canyon Lodge, Snowcreek 588 lies at the heart of Mammoth’s year-round recreation, with the restaurants, shopping and entertainment downtown a 4-minute drive or 15-minute stroll away.
Warmly decorated with a mix of modern and vintage decor, this 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo offers a feeling of tranquility with a “mountain chic” vibe. The home opens onto an inviting, two-story living area with hardwood beams, plush carpet and a gas-burning fireplace set against floor-to-ceiling river rock. Around the fire, a mid-century modern sofa and comfy reclining armchair invite cozy gatherings, while a big-screen TV turns this room into a private theater.
Just behind the sofa, a chic hardwood table comfortably seats up to eight guests on modern wood-and-leather chairs. Four high-top stools at the kitchen breakfast bar add a “kids’ table” or extra space for large groups. An open floor plan creates a seamless flow between the living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen, where you’ll find chefs’ utensils and modern appliances for home-cooked meals.
From the dining area, a modern glass-and-wood staircase leads to a sunny loft with a queen-sized bed and twin daybed with trundle, accommodating up to four guests. This room has an en-suite bath with combination shower and tub.
On the main level, past a private washer and dryer, are two spacious bedrooms, each styled in modern mountain decor. In the master suite, painted a soft gray with a cherry-red accent wall, a bold tryptic of autumn in the mountains hangs above a king-sized bed, complementing the sunset-hued lamps on each nightstand. A powder-blue window seat overlooks the landscaped grounds outside. This room also has an en-suite bathroom.
The second bedroom, painted a golden honey hue, has a warm ambiance with a hardwood sleigh bed, grizzly bear figurines and bear-themed throw pillows. Tall pine trees peek through large picture windows. Guests of this room have a full bath in the hallway.
From this inviting retreat, the Snowcreek Athletic Club and free town shuttle are a short walk away, offering easy access to year-round adventures, including skiing, hiking, biking and entertainment in downtown Mammoth. You can also enjoy a leisurely 15-minute walk to Mammoth Creek Park and into town, or stay near the condo to enjoy a round of golf or the nearby clubhouse amenities. At the Snowcreek Athletic Club, guests can enjoy shared hot tub access, and for a daily fee, workout rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, spas and saunas.
Two shared parking places allow you to explore even more attractions near Mammoth, from Whitmore Hot Springs to Devil’s Postpile National Monument.
